Hey divas! So my morning got off to a supercharged start today thanks to my leftover DD's Hash from last night's dinner. I warmed it in the microwave and topped it with a fried egg. I use organic omega 3 eggs that I fry in a small stainless steel pan using a grapeseed oil spray. The result was fantabulous! I also added a cup of my favorite Mighty Leaf Green Tea Tropical and a bowl of organic blueberries. Not only is this combo delicious, it's superbly healthy, containing:
Organic Omega 3 Egg - Every breakfast should begin with protein. It's more satisfying and you'll eat less the rest of the day.
Chard - Calcium, Vitamins
Yellow & Red Bell Peppers - Vitamin C, etc.
Brown Rice - Fiber, Protein
Black Beans - Fiber, Protein, Vitamins, Minerals
Not a breakfast fan? Another great way to use leftover DD's Hash is to roll it up in a tortilla and top it with salsa for a delicious, healthy burrito.
So for those of you who gripe that cooking for one leaves too many leftovers, take heed! I just made boring brown rice stretch over three to die for meals. If you don't believe me, try it for yourself. I promise you'll be addicted to my hash in no time! Wink wink!
