Happy V-Day, my dear divas! Today, I thought I'd bring you a special Meatless Monday dish for Aphrodisiac Brownies with Blueberries and Walnuts.

Not only are they a veritable antioxidant bonanza, but these brownies ought to get your sweetheart's libido kicking. If they don't, then nothing will!

So celebrate this day and all the love in your life. These dense, dark chocolate brownies are the perfect dessert to make on this special day. Heck, the slogan on this blog isn't Food Is Love for nothing!

Ingredients
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla extract
1 cup sugar
1/2 lb bittersweet chocolate
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup flour
1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1/2 cup dried blueberries
1/2 cup chopped walnuts

Directions

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.

Whisk together the eggs, vanilla and sugar until smooth. In a double boiler, melt the chocolate and butter, stirring to combine. Add it to the eggs/vanilla/sugar mixture and stir to combine.

Next, sift together the flour and cocoa powder, and fold into the wet mixture. Fold in the blueberries and the walnuts.

Spread the batter into a parchment-lined 8 inch square pan. Drizzle the caramel sauce over the top.  Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until just done.

Let cool in the pan. Cut into 2 inch squares (should yield 16 brownies). Enjoy!
